In March 2013 NZBSL will start to carry out used vehicle border inspections on behalf of the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA). In 2012, NZBSL was awarded a contract to complete used vehicle border inspections with 4 other companies based in New Zealand and Japan. NZBSL is able to offer vehicle inspection services throughout New Zealand.

We have trained and experienced team members who will be able to carry out inspections in a timely and professional manner. A number of our team members have previously worked for the Ministry of Primary Industries at the border and have many years experience in inspecting cars on behalf of NZTA.

This is an exciting addition to the services NZBSL currently provide and NZBSL are keen to provide clients with an efficient and professional service.

Used Vehicle Border Inspections for NZTA take place at the border, either on the port or at Customs Controlled Areas / MPI Transitional Facilities. They are structural inspections where our inspectors will inspect the vehicle and inform NZTA of the pass or fail status of the vehicle, so it can then proceed to be registered in New Zealand.
